Stitch Fix #4 - July Review

Stitch Fix #4 - July Review

My stylist, Jessee, once again sent some great pieces. This month, I didn't give her much to go on except that I wanted some transitional pieces I could wear into the fall and she did a great job finding me some great things to consider. I still love that I get a surprise box each month filled with items picked out just for me and the convenience can't be beat. It's definitely a nice way to add pieces to my wardrobe from the comfort of my own home.

Recap on how it works:
1) Fill out your Style Profile and schedule your first Fix.
2) Use your Pinterest board to your advantage! Pin what you love/hate and make notes. (Check out my board HERE.)
3) Get your Fix in the mail and decide what to keep and what to send back in the prepaid envelope.
4) Make notes on what you loved/hated in the Fix so your stylist knows for your next Fix.
5) Use the $20 stylist fee toward anything in the box. Keep it all and get 25% off everything.

The only change I made to my Style Profile this month was my top size. Since last month's box had tops that were too big, I went down a size and the tops fit a lot better this month.

Stitch Fix: Le Lis - Conrado Lace Hem Kit Top

This top is super cute with the colors, stripes, and lace hem. It's a little wider than I'd like though. I didn't really like the way it looked on so this went back. If it fit better, this would've been a contender. $44 (size XS)

The teal color of this top is really nice and the cut could definitely be worn into the fall. This could easily be dressed up or down with skinny jeans or leggings. The sleeves aren't quite 3/4 length and instead sits at my elbow, but I didn't mind it. The material is a bit shinier than I prefer and I could see this wrinkling very easily, otherwise, this one was a surprise contender. I didn't think I'd like it very much until I tried it on. $58 (size XS)

Fun2Fun Janina Split Neck Tulip Sleeve Blouse

I would've never picked this out for myself. I'm not a big blouse person, but this one looked a lot better on me than I expected. Although I wasn't in love with all that extra fabric in the front, I did think the rest of the top was cute. I really like the color and the sleeve detail was different. This was a contender as well. $44 (size XS)

My stylist actually saw this on my Pinterest board and decided to send it to me to try. It was definitely a nice surprise since this is the first piece I've ever gotten because I pinned it. I absolutely loved this skirt. The one I tried on in these pictures is an XS, but it was a little too small so I emailed them to see if I could exchange for a small. They were able to accommodate my exchange and it was a very smooth process. Kudos to the Stitch Fix customer service team! They are quick to reply and incredibly easy to work with. This one was a definite keeper since I was able to get the size I needed. $54 (size XS)

These jeans were a great fit on me. I really liked the cut and the color. They did have to be cuffed on me, but that's pretty normal since I'm so petite. I tried all the tops on with these jeans and they all looked great. This was definitely a contender.

Stitch Fix: Fun2Fun Janina Split Neck Tulip Sleeve Blouse and Pixley Hanneli Polka Dot Swing Skirt

I decided to try out my skirt with the two blouses I got this month and I thought it could've easily been worn with either top. This month's box was definitely one that I would've kept all of if I had room for it in my budget. Alas, I stuck to keeping only one item again and that item was definitely the Pixley Hanneli Polka Dot Swing Skirt although the other items did have me reconsidering.
