Featured: Helen’s Closet Gilbert Top

Dreams are coming true in 2020 even though it’s been a rough year. I was invited by Helen to be a guest blogger for the release of her latest pattern, the Gilbert Top. If you’ve been around for awhile, you know Helen’s Closet was one of the first indie designers I fell in love with and still remains one of my absolute favorites.

*The pattern was provided to me for free and I was compensated for time/materials. All views and opinions are my own.

Head on over to Helen’s blog for more pictures and the full post which includes my review and details on sizing and modifications I made. It was a blast making this pattern and I’m honored for the opportunity to be featured.

Hi Simone! I read your review on Helen’s blog and found it super helpful! I made a toile and think I’m going to have to shorten mine above the bust like you. Do you have any advice on how to adjust the sleeve cap to fit the new armhole? Thanks!
